There will be further overnight closures (in addition to the all-day 29th Sep – 1 Oct weekend) of the A3 and resultant diversions through West Clandon.
We are told the night closures will usually start from 9pm and finish by 5.30am but this can change depending on the volume of traffic and when they can close the road safely.
Monday 11 September to Friday 15 September 2023
- The A3 southbound between Painshill and A247 (Burntcommon) will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5.30am on Monday 11 September, Tuesday 12 September, Wednesday 13 September, Thursday 14 September and Friday 15 September 2023.
- Diversion: via A245, Oaklawn Road, A244, A243 (M25 junction 9), A24, A246 and A247 to re-join the A3.
Monday 25 September to Thursday 28 September 2023
- The A3 southbound between the M25 junction 10 and A247 (Burntcommon) will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5.30am on Monday 25 September, Tuesday 26 September, Wednesday 27 September and Thursday 28 September.
- Diversion: via M25 anti-clockwise to junction 9, to the A24, to the A246, to the A247 re-joining the A3 at A247 (Burntcommon).
