National Highways have notified us of further A3 closures and diversions through our village over the next 4 weeks.
You may have noticed plenty of cones out on the roadside ready to start improvements at the M25 junction 10.
We’re taking this opportunity to do some resurfacing on the A247 Burntcommon entry slip and the southbound stretch of the A3 between here and the A3100 exit at Burpham which may affect local residents and services.

The A247 Burntcommon entry slip, including lanes one and two on the A3 southbound approaching the junction, will be closed between 9pm and 6am the following morning. Drivers wishing to join the A3 at Burntcommon will be diverted through West Clandon, using the A25 and A246 through Guildford to join at Cathedral Junction.

The A3 will be closed southbound overnight from 10pm to 5am between the A247 Burntcommon entry slip to the A3100 exit at Burpham. Drivers will be taken off the A3 using the M25 roundabout to join the A3 again and exit via Ockham. The diversion will continue through Ripley, along the A247 through West Clandon, using the A25 and A246 to join at Cathedral Junction.
