For anyone worried about the notification on the Surrey Highways website of the ‘7 months’ Clandon Road road closure, we believe this is very misleading.
It relates to resurfacing that will be required on the bridge over the A3. We queried this with Surrey Highways and received the following response:
‘’These works are not yet scheduled and are only in the planning stage. As and when they are scheduled, we will be in touch with full details of any closures, diversions, and the impact of the works.’’
